2. EMERGEN-C supplements – Vitamin C

Energy-C is recommended for ages 14 or older.  Energy-C is 1,000 mg of Vitamin C plus it contains antioxidants, zinc and manganese support for your immune system.  It also contain 7) B vitamins, and electrolytes to keep your system balanced and healthy.  It comes in individual powder packets that you just mix with water and drink up.  By the way, it tastes pretty good.  They also offer it in caffeine free.

Manuka Honey is a natural remedy for a cold or the flu.  It has antibacterial power.  Manuka Honey which is from new Zealand has proven to be more effective due to it contains more antiviral properties as well as vitamins and minerals that most other honey’s do not.  For cold and flu symptoms it is recommend to take one teaspoon 4 times a day. There are no none side effects when taking Manuka Honey. 4. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple Cider Vinegar helps to alkalize your body.  A body that has more alkaline has a better chance of  fighting off virus’s which is what causes colds and flu’s.  Most know the old saying “An Apple a day keeps the doctor away”.  Being that apple cider vinegar contains apples, drinking  1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water each day at the early signs of having a cold or flu will get you back to a healthier you much sooner.  I recommend an apple cider vinegar that contains the “mother” such as Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.  Adding Manuka Honey as well as turmeric, black pepper and cayenne pepper to your daily glass of apple cider vinegar mix, will boost your immune system even more.  You can choose to add all or a few of the above mentioned.  At the least, adding Manuka honey will most certainly make your water and vinegar mixture tastes much nicer.
